A guest taps Super Follow once at the spa's address and is subscribed to the spa — not to its Instagram and its newsletter separately. Add a channel next year and the people who already follow the spa come with it, without asking them to follow anything again.

The spa owns the relationship

The follow sits at the address layer rather than inside an app, so the relationship is the spa's: held against its own address, and not rented back to it a slice at a time by a ranking system that can change next quarter.
