Why spas.Best

Guests now meet a spa on a booking app, a map and a feed before they reach reception. Here is what those listings cannot do for the spa, and what an address of its own does instead.

181,175
Spas operating worldwide
Hotel and resort spas are the largest group — 80,423 of them. Every one competes for the same guest on the same few booking platforms and maps.

$104.5B
Spent at spas worldwide in 2023
Hotel and resort spas earned $49B of it. A market that size is fought over by marketplaces and booking apps that charge for every introduction.

Both figures are rounded and attributed to their publisher. They describe the market spas work in, not spas.Best’s own numbers.

A listing is a tenancy

Four things a spa's listings and handles cannot do for it, however full the treatment rooms are.

01
The spa cannot hold its name everywhere
The same spa is @maisonaurore on one network, @maison.aurore on another, @maisonaurore_paris on a third — and on the fourth, somebody else got there first.
02
The guest belongs to the booking app
A treatment booked through a marketplace comes with its commission, and the guest it brought stays largely on its side. When its ranking changes, the spa's bookings change with it.
03
Anyone can pose as the spa
Fake pages sell gift cards and offers under a spa's name and pictures. Verification is sold, revoked and redefined, so the badge that answered it is now a subscription.
04
The spa has no address of its own
What it has is a booking-app profile, a map pin, a gift-card shop and a handful of accounts, each with its own menu and hours — and none of them on a domain it controls.

One address. Everything the spa is.

spas.best/yourspa is an address the spa holds, a hub it opens, and a follow that is held against it.

All your links in one place
The treatment menu, the booking, gift cards and the way in on one page, at one address printed on the voucher.
Super Follow: Grow your guests
Guests follow the spa at its address, not a booking app's — so regulars hear about the new ritual from the spa itself.
Click analytics
See what guests press — book, menu, gift cards — counted at the spa's own address rather than inferred from a platform's dashboard.
Send messages to Super Followers
The new season, the quiet-weekday offer, the members' evening: written once, and it lands with every Super Follower.
Private links for Super Followers
The members' ritual, early booking, the regulars' code: rows that open for the guests who followed the spa, and stay shut for everyone else.

One address, one page, one following — and all three of them the spa’s. How it works walks through building it, Super Follow is the button the third card is about, and pricing is what each plan costs. About .best covers the domain the paid plans come with.
