Why hotels.Best

A guest now meets a hotel on a portal, a map and a feed before they meet it at reception. Here is what those listings cannot do for the hotel, and what an address of its own does instead.

5.4B
People using social media
Roughly two thirds of humanity, and about 94% of everyone who is online — next season's guests among them.
DataReportal / We Are Social, Jan 2026 estimate
~7
Platforms per user, every month
6.8 on the latest count. A guest can meet the hotel on any of them, and each shows a slightly different hotel.

Both figures are rounded and attributed to their publishers. They describe where guests already are online, not hotels.Best’s own numbers.

A listing is a tenancy

Four things a hotel's listings and handles cannot do for it, however many reviews are behind them.

01
The hotel cannot hold its name everywhere
The same riad is @darbiona on one network, @dar.biona on another, @darbiona_riad on a third — and on the fourth, somebody else got there first.
02
The guest belongs to the portal
A booking through a portal comes with the portal's terms and its commission, and much of the relationship with the guest stays on the platform's side. When its ranking changes, the hotel's visibility changes with it.
03
Anyone can pose as the hotel
Fake booking pages and lookalike accounts use a hotel's name and photographs to take deposits. Verification is sold, revoked and redefined, so the badge that answered it is now a subscription.
04
The hotel has no address of its own
What it has is a website, a portal listing, a map pin and a handful of profiles on domains it does not control — each showing a slightly different hotel.

One address. Everything the hotel is.

hotels.best/yourhotel is an address the hotel holds, a hub it opens, and a follow that is held against it.

Your hotel. Your domain.
hotels.best/yourhotel for free, and on Pro yourhotel.best — registered to the hotel, renewable on its terms, and movable to any registrar.
All your links in one place
Rooms, rates, the direct booking, the map and reception on one page, at one address a guest can type from the key card.
Super Follow: Grow your guest list
Guests follow the hotel at its address, not a portal's — so the guest who stayed once can hear from the hotel again.
Click analytics
See which rows guests press — book, call, the map — counted at the hotel's own address rather than inferred from a portal's dashboard.
Send messages to Super Followers
The quiet-season offer, the new suite, the festival weekend: written once, and it lands with every Super Follower.
Private links for Super Followers
The returning-guest rate, the rooftop dinner: rows that open for the guests who followed the hotel, and stay shut for everyone else.

One address, one page, one following — and all three of them the hotel’s. How it works walks through building it, Super Follow is the button the third card is about, and pricing is what each plan costs. About .best covers the domain the paid plans come with.
