A guest taps Super Follow once at the restaurant's address and is subscribed to the restaurant — not to its Instagram and its newsletter separately. Add a channel next year and the people who already follow the restaurant come with it, without asking them to follow anything again.

The restaurant owns the relationship

The follow sits at the address layer rather than inside an app, so the relationship is the restaurant's: held against its own address, and not rented back to it a slice at a time by a ranking system that can change next quarter.

Nothing stands between the restaurant and the guests who followed it. What it posts at its address reaches them — there is no feed to place it in, and no reach to buy back.

Write one private message — a promo code, a discount, a secret link, or simply a welcome — and it is sent automatically to everyone who Super Follows, the moment they do. It lands in their super box, the mailbox every Super Follower has, which is also where anything else the restaurant sends its Super Followers arrives.
